There has been a call on the people of Sligo to come out and support a protest at Deputy Jimmy Devins office tomorrow at 12 noon.

Organised by the Workers Alliance, its part of an ongoing campaign against the Budget and the IMF being called into the country.

It comes as Government TD's are due back in their constituencies after rushing through many aspects of the Social Welfare Bill.

Independent Socialist Councillor Declan Bree said the public need to come out and show their opposition to the way the Government is handling this economic crisis.
