Reminder: DCTU May Day parade to take place on Sunday May 1st

The annual May Day parade organised by the Dublin Council of Trade Unions will take place on Sunday May 1st, assembling at 2.30 pm at the Garden of Remembrance and from there going to Liberty Hall/Beresford Place.

Those addressing the rally at Liberty Hall will include DCTU President Tom Simpson and DCTU Secretary Sam Nolan, as well as speakers representing LUAS, TESCO and health sector workers, the National Homeless & Housing Coalition and the Work Must Pay campaign. The rally will also be addressed by Unite official and Right2Water spokesperson Brendan Ogle.

Join MRCI and activists and leaders in this year's May Day parade and rally. March with 1000s of workers in solidarity and celebration of the contribution you all make here in Ireland. MRCI gathering outside our OLD offices at 56 Parnell Square West at 2.15pm to then join everyone else for 2.30pm at the Garden of Remembrance Parnell Square. There is live music after the parade. Hope you can make it, family and friends welcome!
