In 2013, Lucy Powell described the rape gangs as "horrific". Twelve years later she dismissed the issue as a "dog whistle". To get ahead in the Labour Party, you?ve now got to throw white working-class girls to the wolves.

U.S. troop carrier plane attacked and sabotaged at Shannon airport

category clare | anti-war / imperialism | news report author Wednesday December 21, 2011 17:00author by Trevor Report this post to the editors

Authorites trying to cover up fact that Omni troop carrier (probably bound for Afghanistan) put out of action, but media have wind of it

A sketchy report on the Irish Anti-War Movement website states that a U.S. troop carrier plane was attacked and sabotaged at Shannon airport. From other sources I understand that that Omni used this aircraft as a spare and that was parked in a relatively remote area of the airport when disarmed a day or so ago by having its hydraulic or fuel lines severed.

So far, curiously, the mainstream media has made no mention of this major breach of security and consequent embarrassment to the authorities although activists with Shannonwatch have been contacted on this matter by the press.
